Zaraz review
Score: 4/10Loved the pitch; the product never grew into it.
The breakdown explains the score. It is not an average. How to read these.

Zaraz runs analytics, pixels, tags, and other third-party scripts at the edge instead of in the browser. It is one of Cloudflare’s best acquisitions on paper. When it works, moving that JavaScript off the main thread produces a visible performance improvement.
In practice, the integration catalog is thin. Anything missing requires a custom managed component, and working out why an event did not fire is frustratingly opaque. Configuration changes and migrations over the years have not inspired confidence.
I keep revisiting Zaraz because I want it to be good, but Cloudflare’s attention seems to have moved elsewhere. It works for a couple of well-supported analytics tools. Keep expectations low beyond that.

Counts what Cloudflare published, not what broke: time open is how long the status entry stayed open, and nothing before April 2022 is tracked at all. Incidents Cloudflare tagged against nothing but named in the title are counted too. The caveats in full.
